Rebecca Yadegari, MS, RDN
Pronouns: She/Her
Nutritionist
I’m from Westwood, Los Angeles, and my journey in nutrition began at UCSB, followed by earning my MS in Nutrition at Cal Poly Pomona. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Eating Disorder Specialist, I feel incredibly lucky to wake up each day knowing that I have the chance to help someone on their recovery path. Listening to my clients’ stories and being a part of their healing process is truly inspiring and rewarding.
The most fulfilling part of my job is watching someone’s relationship with food transform. As they start to heal and view food in a new light, it opens up space for them to focus on what truly matters in life. It’s amazing to see people reclaim their sense of self and purpose, and it makes me feel grateful to be a part of that journey.
Self-care is essential for me, and I make sure to prioritize it. I practice yoga 1-2 times a week, which helps me stay grounded. I also make it a point to spend time with people who make me laugh—laughter is one of the best forms of self-care!
A mantra that guides my work is: “What a pleasure that I have the opportunity to go through this!” It’s a simple reminder that every challenge is an opportunity for growth and learning, both for me and for those I work with.
If I had to listen to one song for 24 hours, it would definitely be “Yuce Dag Basinda” by Altin Gun. It’s an upbeat, feel-good track that never fails to lift my mood!
If you’re considering coming to Breathe, I want you to know that you’ll be welcomed with open arms. This is a place where you can truly heal and grow, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
When I’m not working, I love going to concerts, practicing yoga, and exploring national parks. I travel whenever I can, as experiencing new places and cultures always brings fresh perspective and inspiration.
