Melissa Sanchez
Human Resources Manager
I’m from Los Angeles, California, and I hold a degree in Human Resources Management from California State University – Dominguez Hills. While I’m not directly involved in mental health care, I find great purpose in supporting the amazing Breathe staff who work closely with our clients. Knowing that my role contributes to both the well-being of the team and the people we serve makes my work truly meaningful.
The most rewarding part of my job is collaborating with a positive, driven team and having the chance to make an impact—both on individuals and on Breathe as a whole. Being able to help create a workplace environment that fosters growth and support is something I’m truly proud of.
In my personal life, I practice self-care through affirmations, reading, meditation, and exercise. These habits keep me grounded and help me maintain a positive outlook. The mantra that guides me is: “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” It reminds me that confidence and belief are the keys to overcoming challenges.
If you’re thinking about coming to Breathe, I want you to know that it’s a supportive, positive environment. You’ll be surrounded by people who are here to help you grow, heal, and thrive.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, working out at the gym with friends, and capturing moments through photography—especially of my loved ones.
