Kentucky is where I’m from, but my path has led me to a place where I can make a real impact—helping people find hope in recovery. My journey started at Breckenridge County Vocational School, but my true education came through life experience. Losing family to addiction and growing up with a history of mental health challenges shaped my understanding of just how important this work is. It’s what drives me to show up every day and do my best to support recovery, knowing firsthand how much it matters.
The most rewarding part of my job isn’t just the work itself—it’s the people. I have the privilege of working alongside a team that is deeply committed to making a difference. At Breathe, we believe in creating an atmosphere of hope and healing, where every person who walks through our doors feels seen, supported, and cared for. If you’re thinking about coming here, know this: you are not alone. You’re stepping into a place where people genuinely want to help you build a better future.
Outside of work, I find peace in the simple joys of life. I live on a small farm, where I spend time with my family and our animals. Volunteering at a cat rescue also keeps me grounded—it’s a reminder that even the smallest acts of care can make a difference. When I need a moment to reset, I turn to reading or listening to music. If I had to pick just one song to listen to on repeat, it would be Be Like That by Kane Brown—because life doesn’t always go the way we expect, but we adapt, we grow, and we keep moving forward.
A quote I live by is, Do not let what you cannot complete interfere with what you can accomplish. In both work and life, I focus on what I can do—and that’s making a meaningful impact, one step at a time.
