Angie S. Wang
Therapist Intern
I’m a born-and-raised New Yorker with a Master’s in Family Therapy from Rutgers, and I have the absolute privilege of working as a Group Leader at Breathe. What keeps me inspired in this field? That incredible moment when the lights go on in someone’s eyes—when I get to witness people move from despair to hope. It’s the juice that fuels me every day.
The most rewarding part of my work? I get a front-row seat to profound transformation. There’s nothing like seeing people step into their power and begin to heal.
When I’m not working, I take care of myself by exercising, spending time with loved ones, soaking up nature, and diving into spiritual practices and AA. I also love working on creative projects—it keeps my soul happy. And if I had to listen to just one song for 24 hours? Sara by Fleetwood Mac, hands down.
If you’re thinking about coming to Breathe, here’s what I want you to know: it’s as imperfect as anything, but it runs on the engine of our collective heart and passion. Love and magic happen here.
Outside of work, I’m usually making art, working out, doing devotional work, or hanging with my little rat daughter and crazy pup. Life’s a wild ride, and I’m here for every moment of it.
