Pronouns: She/Her

Primary Therapist

I’ve always been deeply interested in the human experience, which ultimately led me to the mental health and recovery field. Growing up, I was fascinated by the complexities of how people navigate life’s challenges and how we all search for meaning and connection. That curiosity guided me to Hunter College for my BA and then to Palo Alto University, where I earned my MA. Throughout my studies, I was constantly inspired by the resilience of the human spirit and the power of healing.

As a therapist, the most rewarding part of my work is watching people reconnect with their truth.  I find my own sense of purpose being a part of guiding clients to rediscover who they are beneath the layers of fear, shame, or past pain. Witnessing that transformation—when a person finally remembers their authentic self—is a beautiful experience for me.

One modality I incorporate into my practice is polyvagal theory, which help clients understand how their nervous system plays a role in their emotional regulation and recovery. Learning to tune into and regulate the nervous system can be a game-changer for people working through trauma or emotional dysregulation. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see clients connect with these tools to find a sense of safety and stability in their bodies.

Self-care is an important part of my own journey. For me, it’s about getting outside and staying connected with nature. I take lots of walks, which helps me clear my mind and stay grounded. It’s those moments of quiet reflection that recharge me, so I can show up fully for my clients.

A quote that has always guided my work is “Forgiveness is the driving force behind healing.” I truly believe that forgiveness—of both others and ourselves—is an essential part of the healing process. It’s a force that allows people to move forward with more peace and self-compassion.

If I had to listen to just one song for 24 hours, it would be “Free” by Florence and the Machine. The song’s powerful message about liberation and release resonates deeply with me, especially when I think about the freedom that comes from healing.

If you’re thinking about coming to Breathe, I want you to know that you’re not alone. This is a place where you can take the time to heal and rediscover yourself. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me hanging out with my friends and my cats. They bring a sense of calm and joy into my life, and spending time with them helps me stay balanced and grounded.
