Matthew Bianchi, CADC II
Matthew is a credential substance abuse counselor with 13 years’ experience. He began working in the substance abuse treatment field in 2005 in Falmouth, Massachusetts. His talent was quickly recognized and with the help of numerous accomplished mentors he returned to school at The University of Boston Massachusetts and secured his CADC II credentials as a substance abuse counselor in 2009. Matthew became a strong resource at work and in his community.
Since then, Matthew has worked as a counselor in treatment programs and in 2012 extended his skills to Private Sober Companioning based in Los Angeles. Matthew’s ability to connect with clients in crisis, counsel to support letting go of self-sabotaging habits and patterns and building life-enhancing skills allowed him to assist those in need of treatment and those building a recovery life post treatment.
In January of 2018 Matthew was featured on the cover of The Fight Magazine where he shared his own personal story of recovery and his passion for helping those in the LGBTQ community. He has also been featured in other editorials including Los Angeles Blade and Instinct Magazine.
Matthew’s mission today is to continue to take every opportunity he can to assist in the wellbeing of all those in need of help to overcome substance abuse and eating disorders
